Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a high-potential Continuous Improvement and Digitalization Lead to join our factory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives at the site level, supporting the KraftHeinz Management System (KHMS) program governance, and driving digital transformation efforts. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to develop their knowledge of the production site, analytical skills, and stakeholder management skills, with opportunities to grow into other functions within or outside the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Continuous Improvement and Standardization.
Identify and execute site-level continuous improvement initiatives to improve site key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Yield and Energy Consumption.
Implement new tools to continuously standardize operations and elevate site performance, such as process mapping, cost dictionary development, troubleshooting guides.
Collaborate with the production teams to develop and maintain standard processes and procedures.
Support the KHMS program governance by leading progress review meetings and coaching teams during execution.
Manages changes to KHMS standards on site to ensure compliance to global guidelines.
Support Digital Transformation
Supports the Digital transformation program by implementing digital solutions on the shopfloor, such as operator tablet systems, digital work instructions and checklists, automated data collection systems to enhance productivity
Makes the link between project and production teams on the shop floor to understand user requirements.
Provide training, coaching, and reinforcement to ensure successful adoption of digital tools.
Identifies and initiates improvements to digital solutions after implementation.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality, to drive CI initiatives and digital transformation efforts.
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure awareness and engagement in CI and digital transformation efforts.
Requirements:
Master’s/Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Operations Management).
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a CI or digital transformation role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Plus:
Experience with KraftHeinz Management System (KHMS) or similar management systems.
Knowledge of digital tools and technologies, such as Industry 4.0 solutions.
Certification in lean manufacturing or a related field (e.g., Six Sigma).
