JOB TITLE: Content Specialist – Digital Channel Personalisation - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

SALARY: £43,803 to £48,670, depending on experience

LOCATION: Bristol, Birmingham or Leeds

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office hubs or partner site.


Join our team crafting Business and Commercial Banking's (BCB) digital and multi-channel experience. Designing connected, personalised customer experiences across touch points such as mobile app, online banking, websites and email, and external channels. These will be anchored in strategic themes and initiatives such as unlocking growth for our existing customers, growing digital engagement within business sectors, optimising the mobile app to help clients meet their business needs, or delivering multi-channel brand and design changes.

This role will focus on supporting the design and delivery of personalised marketing content into our digital channels to engage existing customers. Collaborate with product and channel partners within BCB and across Brands, Marketing & Experience to support campaign delivery and content building, testing and optimisation across our desktop and mobile app platforms.

What you’ll do

  • Build personalised marketing content for digital channels, ensuring relevancy, accuracy and quality, challenging briefs to ensure effective content is delivered
     
  • Test and deploy content changes through development and production systems across the mobile app and desktop Online for Business platform, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
     
  • Contribute to the overall performance and optimisation of digital personalisation, suggesting new insights to improve the overall experience or uplift customer experience and engagement through a/b testing
     
  • Be a credible consultant across the business, truly understanding the capabilities and limitations of our digital marketing technology stack and supporting with campaign design and performance

The skills and background you'll need

  • Ideally, a marketing or digital background with an understanding of digital marketing channels, targeting capabilities and techniques, and campaign performance optimisation.
     
  • An understanding of the Group’s digital marketing platforms and ability to deliver end-to-end change through build, QA and deployment stages (ideally knowledge of AEM, Adobe Target and RTIM)
     
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, attention to fine detail, ensuring the accuracy of content changes and deployments
     
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills to ensure continued delivery at pace according to business and customer requirements
  • An excellent collaborator who proactively communicates with partners to ensure work progresses and relationships are strengthened
     
  • A strong, data-led, commercial mentality to spot optimisation opportunities and proactively improve customer engagement and experiences
