We are seeking a Primary Research Consultant to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic research projects within IQVIA’s data collection and healthcare insights business. This role blends consulting acumen, data analysis, and project leadership, requiring a strong ability to navigate ambiguity and synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
The ideal candidate will have a background in data-driven consulting and or primary research, and a strong analytical mindset. They will be comfortable working in dynamic environments, approaching problems with structured thinking, and translating raw data into compelling visual narratives and strategic recommendations.
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, identifying patterns, trends, and insights that inform strategic decisions.
Develop and present client-ready deliverables, including dashboards, visualizations, and reports tailored to diverse stakeholder audiences.
Collaborate cross-functionally to manage project teams and ensure seamless execution across data collection, recruitment, and analysis phases.
Facilitate client interactions, guiding them through problem definition, hypothesis generation, and solution development.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple research projects, often global in scope, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Design and execute fit-for-purpose research methodologies, leveraging IQVIA’s healthcare provider network and integrated data capabilities.
Create and monitor KPIs to track project performance and proactively address risks and issues.
Support proposal development, including scoping, pricing, and methodology recommendations.
Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending innovative approaches and tools for data synthesis and storytelling.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Public Health (MPH), Business, or related field preferred.
Background in consulting, data analysis, market research, or healthcare insights.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Comfortable working with relational data and navigating complex datasets.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
Experience in the US healthcare market is a plus.
Open to candidates with slightly lower seniority who demonstrate potential and a strong analytical foundation
