Who we are looking for

Financial Crimes Compliance (“FCC”) Know Your Customer (KYC) Program Vice President, compliance professional with 5-8 years of experience of developing KYC program, standards and requirements to promote compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) regulations. Key responsibilities include developing global KYC standards and requirements, partnering with business, operations and infrastructure teams to enhance automation in the customer due diligence process, and managing regulatory examinations and remediations.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home (1 day) and office (4 days) to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As FCC KYC Program, VP you will:

  • Manage and coordinate across all Business Units the triannual update of KYC Requirements as part of the ongoing Global KYC Program change management process. 

  • Design and lead change in the KYC Program, including improving productivity through process simplification, review of the risk-based approach, automation and organizational redesign. Specific focus on automated/perpetual KYC for periodic reviews.

  • Manage regulatory changes with impacts to KYC standards and expansions into new jurisdictions. Partner with in-country compliance officers to obtain requirements, translate requirements into KYC requirements, and engage with cross-functional compliance and BU operations on execution.

  • Serve as subject matter expert and liaison for FLOD and SLOD teams to enhance the FLOD/SLOD practical understanding of AML regulations, and the AML Program in support of Risk Excellence. Promote consistent application of the KYC standards globally.

  • Manage remediation of issues identified by second or third line testing. Propose, draft, and manage remediation plans to completion. Support regulatory exams by preparing exam responses and reviewing materials for submission.

  • Partner with infrastructure team to maintain and update business rules engine and enhance/refine KYC platform functionality, including approving business requirements documents.

  • Participate, present, and collaborate in multiple global meetings with cross-functional partners within first and second line.

  • Support critical corporate strategies including Cryptocurrency/Digital Assets, Perpetual/Automated KYC, FCC Innovations initiatives, and Business Rules Engine.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate college degree required; post-graduate degree a plus.

  • Minimum 5-8 years related experience

  • Working knowledge of AML, OFAC, FinCEN, and KYC procedures and regulatory requirements including BSA and USA PATRIOT Act.

  • BSA/AML and Sanctions Risk Assessment experience is required.

  • Prior AML and Sanctions compliance and risk management experience.

  • Strong Excel skills and ability to understand data and create reporting.

  • Professional certification such as CAMS, RMA, CFE, CPA, CIA, etc

Salary Range:

$115 000 - $190 000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
