🙌🏼 What you will be doing

We’re looking for a Compliance and AML analyst based out of our Dublin office, to support in the design, implementation and monitoring of Ramp Ireland (Swaps) Ltd. Regulatory Compliance Programme.

This is a second line of defence role which will report to the Head of Compliance (Ireland) but work closely with a wide range of teams across the business including Legal, Compliance, Compliance Operations, Support, Product, Commerical and Technology teams.

 

🧩 What you will be working on

Regulatory Compliance

  • Support the Head of Compliance in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the annual Compliance Plan and the wider Compliance Framework.
  • Assist in the design, review, and regular updating of key compliance policies and procedures (e.g., Conflicts of Interest, Code of Conduct, Whistleblowing, Complaints Handling) to ensure they are fit for purpose and reflect the current regulatory landscape.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring and assurance testing (second line of defence) against key regulatory requirements and internal policies, documenting findings and tracking remedial actions to completion.
  • Develop and maintain the regulatory compliance training program, including delivering training to staff on key compliance topics and promoting a strong culture of compliance.
  • Perform regulatory horizon scanning: actively monitor, identify, and analyze new and emerging regulatory developments to assess their impact on the business.
  • Support the business in understanding and implementing new regulatory requirements, providing practical, solutions-oriented compliance advice.
  • Assist in conducting the firm-wide Compliance Risk Assessment, identifying key risks and assessing the effectiveness of mitigating controls.
  • Prepare management information (MI) and reports for senior leadership and the Board on the status of compliance activities, issues, and regulatory changes.
  • Support the Head of Compliance in managing regulatory interactions.
  • Assist in maintaining key regulatory registers, such as conflicts of interest.

 

AML/Financial Crime

  • Support the Head of Compliance (Ireland) in the implementation and management of relevant compliance programmes including AML/CFT/Sanctions, EU Travel Rule and regulatory change programmes as applicable.
  • Proven experience coordinating the timely investigation of suspicious activity and necessary reporting (STRs) filed with an Garda Síochána and the Revenue Commissioners.
  • Provide timely responses in relation to requests to Law Enforcement agencies.
  • Support the annual risk assessment of Ramp Irelands ML/CFT risk.
  • Support the annual review of the AML policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and financial crime prevention.
  • Support review of training materials and delivery of annual training to employees on compliance-related topics such as AML, Sanctions, AntiBribery and Corruption and EU Travel Rule.
  • Support second line of defence monitoring of Ramp Ireland AML/ CFT/Sanctions controls.
  • Support the provision of management information (”MI”) on AML for reporting to Ramp Ireland senior leadership and Board of Directors ensuring awareness of the status of the AML and CTF compliance programmes.
  • Act as Compliance SME to the business working closely with, and support, key stakeholders in the Commercial, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Compliance Operations, Support and Product teams to drive a culture of financial crime and data protection compliance.

 

Data Protection

  • Support the Head of Compliance (Ireland) for monitoring the organisations compliance with EU data privacy requirements and other data protection legislation and for maintaining internal data protection policies, procedures and processes.
  • Inform and advise the organisation and its employees of their data protection obligations under the GDPR and foster a data protection culture.
  • Assist in Privacy Risk Assessments, manage data subject access requests and data breach responses.

 

🤟 What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a compliance, risk, legal, or AML-focused role. Relevant internship or placement experience within a financial services firm, consultancy, or regulator will be considered.
  • Some exposure to, or a strong demonstrable interest in, AML/CFT, financial crime, and data protection regulations.
  • A good foundational understanding of the Irish/EU regulatory landscape, including AML (CJA 2010) and data protection (GDPR).
  • Working towards, or a genuine interest in obtaining, relevant compliance or data protection certifications (e.g., from ACOI, IAPP) is beneficial.
  • Highly collaborative and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Highest level of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive, with a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of tasks.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Genuine enthusiasm and curiosity about fintech, crypto, and regulatory compliance.
