POSITION OVERVIEW: BASIC FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The role is responsible for supporting the implementation and management of trade programs and promotional activities, coordinating with sales, marketing, finance, and external partners to ensure smooth execution and alignment. The role analyzes sales and trade data to evaluate promotion effectiveness, prepares regular performance reports, and provides actionable insights to the Commercial Trade Manager to optimize ROI. It ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, helps refine trade processes for greater efficiency, tracks competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities, and maintains accurate records of trade budgets, approvals, and agreements while providing administrative and ad-hoc support as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA/Master’s or relevant certification a plus.
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP/POS systems preferred.
Supportive skills (bonus points): Power Query, SQL basic, PowerPoint intermediate
Competencies:
Trade execution: Experience implementing and managing trade programs and promotions to maximize ROI.
Data & analysis: Strong quantitative skills; able to analyze sales/trade data and deliver actionable insights.
Commercial acumen: Understanding of margins, pricing, and retail/distributor mechanics.
Project & stakeholder management: Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives, vendors, timelines and budgets.
Compliance & process improvement: Ensure adherence to policies/regulations and drive efficiency.
Communication & attention to detail: Clear reporting and accurate record‑keeping.
Tech literacy & problem solving: Advanced Excel; comfortable with BI/ERP tools and adapting to change.
