ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

TelevisaUnivision is looking for Commercial Talent & Activations member to join our team!

This position is a versatile On-air and Digital “personality” focusing on sales integration, entertainment, sports, health, wellness, and technology content. Host must be able to exercise good judgement and journalistic principles with regards to what constitutes “good taste” and must be able to work within guidelines provided. This position is responsible in coordination with the Activations Supervisor and managers on preparations for presentations, maintaining documents organized, updated for marketing, promotions an event activation. In addition, this position will be responsible for set up of promotional items, assist special events and station appearances. Interface with clients, listeners, and general public during off site promotional activities. You must be able to collaborate creatively with the Sales & Promotions staff.

You will report to the Activations Supervisor.

ABOUT YOU:

You will work closely and be collaborate with the editorial staff and technical crew. You will present on-air interviews/content in a clear, concise manner. In addition, you must be able to work alone with the camera, to write and edit his/her story, and to interact with the viewers throughout the Univision web page and be social media savvy for Digital Content creation.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

• The Show Host must be capable of being a creative storyteller; and have the ability to develop different stories and interviews geared towards a broad variety of guests/subjects.
• Gather information, conduct interviews live on-air/ pre-taped look lives, online and /or mobile. Write, translate, copy and produce segments during the Despierta Sacramento show and client integrations.
• Position requires that candidate be completely comfortable with unscripted, and impromptu interviews conducted in flawless Spanish and English.
• Generate content, images and/or information for our digital and social media platforms.
• Follow all station promotions policies and guidelines. Greet listeners and distribute prizes to winners Conduct on-air announcements from remote or appearance locations Drive station vehicles including oversized trucks and vans
• Assist Activations Supervisor with on-site requests, contests, events, prizes etc.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a revenue driven environment.
• Self-motivated proactive with a good attitude and work well with others.

YOU HAVE:

• A minimum of 2 years on-camera television experience, preferably in Spanish language television.
• Solid ability to read and write fluently in Spanish/English with excellent command of the Spanish language.
• Ability to conduct "call-in On-Air announcements" from site locations in Spanish
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally for meetings and events.  
• Creative, Organized, Enthusiastic Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of digital social media
• Must have a very polished, upbeat and professional on-air appearance; comfortable working in front of a cameras during a live broadcast and speaking before large groups of people.
• Knowledge of how to work with television equipment and production crew.
• Fundamental understanding and knowledge with non-linear video editing and production is necessary.
• Must have knowledge of word, excel, Powerpoint, outlook, experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud, iNEWS a plus.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position. Salary Range: $56.6K - $60k
