About the Role
As a Commercial Escrow Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting complex commercial real estate transactions. You’ll work closely with escrow officers, lenders, attorneys, and clients to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely closings — helping to uphold ORT’s commitment to quality and reliability.
This is an in-person opportunity based out of our Phoenix, AZ office location.
What You’ll Do
Provide professional, proactive support to escrow officers throughout all phases of the transaction.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, business partners, and internal teams via phone, email, and in person.
Thoroughly document all conversations and actions to ensure accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
Maintain confidentiality and deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
Manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Accurately prepare, review, and process escrow and closing documents.
Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of title insurance policies, endorsements, and escrow procedures.
Apply sound judgment, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills to ensure smooth closings.
Stay up to date with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.
Support company goals and technology initiatives; adapt to new tools and systems with ease.
Continue professional escrow education through company-provided training and resources.
What You Bring
Commercial escrow experience preferred (residential experience with interest in commercial considered).
Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy under deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and professionalism.
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining composure and quality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
Intermediate understanding of accounting principles (debits and credits).
Notary commission preferred (or willingness to obtain).
A positive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
