ClickUp is seeking a strategic, business-minded Attorney to join our Legal team and support our commercial operations. As a trusted advisor, you will play a critical role in enabling ClickUp’s rapid growth by ensuring legal excellence across the commercial function. You’ll partner cross-functionally with business leaders, help shape scalable legal processes, and drive solutions that empower our teams to move fast and smart.

The Role:

Serve as a key legal partner to the commercial function, providing practical, business-oriented advice on a wide range of legal matters.

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS, vendor, partnership, and confidentiality agreements.

Advise on corporate governance, entity management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Develop and maintain expertise in ClickUp’s contracting instruments and corporate structure, ensuring best-in-class legal support for business initiatives.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks, and to implement scalable legal processes.

Contribute to legal team knowledge-sharing, process improvement, and the development of templates and playbooks.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree; active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

3+ years of corporate legal experience, either in-house or at a law firm (hybrid litigation experience a plus).

Demonstrated competency in commercial contracts, corporate governance, and legal operations for high-growth technology companies.

Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environment.

High integrity, sound judgment, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Salary and Benefits

USA Salary Range (OTE)

$145,000—$198,500 USD
