The Collection Intern will assist in producing collection reports, manual billing, and daily updates to management while gaining valuable exposure to enterprise financial operations. This role also provides the opportunity to support an important financial system enhancement project.
Produce manual bills for enterprise customers as needed.
Generate and maintain the monthly ageing report for outstanding receivables.
Assist in compiling and submitting daily collection performance numbers to the Head of Department.
Support Collection Specialists in follow-ups, reporting, and system updates.
Gain exposure to Maxis’ billing systems and collections processes.
Participate in the migration of payment recognition from First In First Out (FIFO) to Invoice-Based Posting, contributing to a significant improvement in payment allocation accuracy and financial reporting.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis tools.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Eager to learn and able to quickly familiarise with billing software platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Maxis-specific systems).
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Internship duration: 6 months starting December 2025.
