The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
• Coordinate the collection of premium balances for Travelers Residual Markets for assigned states, which may sometimes include basic calculations for
accuracy.
•    Assist the collection agencies  by responding to requests for information.
•    Provide guidance and necessary documents to attorneys when suit is advised.
•    Manage court-related documentation and coordinate witnesses.
•    Engage in mediation, arbitration, and litigation of collection files.
•    Evaluate premium debts to determine the continuation of collection activities.
•    Update and monitor SCU work systems including CATS, PRDB and DBS.
•    Offer technical support to underwriting and correct transaction errors.
•    Track legal and attorney-related expenses.
•    Perform additional duties as needed.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
•    Proficiency in legal and financial documentation.
•    Technological proficiency and basic knowledge in Microsoft Suite products.
•    Ability to manage multiple files and prioritize tasks effectively.
•    Experience in debt collection and/or  litigation processes.
•    Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
•    Core mathematical competency.
