We are currently hiring a Coaching and Talent Development Strategist based in our Head Office in Burnaby 

As a Coaching and Talent Development Strategist, you’ll report to the Chief People Officer and help advance a culture of learning, leadership, and continuous improvement across BCAA. You’ll design and deliver coaching and development programs aligned with BCAA’s vision and values, empowering individuals and teams to reach their full potential. As a Certified Coach and Insights Practitioner, you’ll also lead human-skills and leadership initiatives that strengthen BCAA’s award-winning culture and drive performance excellence.

What you’ll do: 

  • Design, implement, and sustain coaching and leadership development programs aligned with BCAA’s mission, values, and strategic priorities. 

  • Partner with senior leaders and People & Culture teams to strengthen leadership capability, performance and culture.  

  • Provide individual and team coaching, and advise on leadership effectiveness, change management, and culture development initiatives. 

  • Facilitate engaging learning experiences and workshops that build self-awareness, communication, and leadership skills. 

  • Integrate psychometric assessments and feedback tools into coaching and development processes to inform continuous improvement. 

  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure programs are inclusive, accessible, and impactful. 

 

What you bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communication, or a related field. 

  • Coaching certification from a recognized institution; Insights Discovery Certification required; Hogan Assessment Certification considered an asset. 

  • Instructor’s or Adult Education Diploma. 

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in leadership development, organizational learning, or professional coaching within complex customer-focused environments. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in individual and group coaching, with strong facilitation, communication and relationship-building skills.  

  • Experience influencing senior leaders and driving cultural and behavioural change through coaching and development strategies. 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital learning or collaboration platforms. 

  • Committed to ethical practice, confidentiality, and advancing organizational excellence through people development.

The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $150,000 per year and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 19.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 30%.  

 

Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 on-site / 2 remote days). Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.
