As a Clinical Specialist within the Abbott Vascular Division, you will play a key role in supporting physicians and healthcare teams during coronary procedures. This is a field-based role covering Denmark and Norway, with an ideal location in Copenhagen. You will deliver best-in-class training, procedural support, and operational assistance to ensure successful adoption of Abbott’s therapies and technologies. This role requires strong clinical expertise, customer focus, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide case support across therapy areas within and outside the assigned territory as required.

  • Support physicians and nurses during clinical procedures, offering primary technical assistance and escalating to senior colleagues when necessary.

  • Conduct product presentations and respond to technical questions from healthcare professionals.

  • Perform in-depth market analysis and therapy penetration reviews, identifying opportunities for growth and adoption.

  • Manage relationships with key clinical opinion leaders (KOLs).

  • Participate in local and international congresses and meetings as needed.

  • Complete timely administrative tasks (customer records, forecasts, monthly highlights, expenses) in line with divisional standards.

  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of Abbott therapies, technologies, and relevant clinical studies.

  • Support product launch strategies and execution through implementation plans and customer engagement.

  • Share best practices and technical insights with colleagues to build expertise and add scientific and commercial value.

  • Comply with all clinical practices, hospital protocols, Abbott quality standards, legal and regulatory requirements, and the Code of Business Conduct.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sciences.

  • Experience in a Cath lab clinical role or healthcare clinical specialist role is strongly preferred

  • Good knowledge of the Danish/Norwegian healthcare market.

  • Familiarity with Cath lab and operating room procedures and protocols.

  • Fluent in Danish and English (verbal and written).

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time across Denmark and Norway.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.

  • Ability to collaborate with diverse customers and colleagues.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
