Position Description:

The Department of Diagnosis and Oral Health at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time Clinical Educator (.4 FTE) position for the Endodontics pre-doctoral and graduate clinical education curriculum.

Applicants should be able to be licensed in the state of Kentucky and a graduate from a CODA-accredited program. Clinical experience is preferred. The successful applicant will be responsible for patient care in Endodontics and oversight of dental students. Applicants will need to demonstrate effective communication and mentoring skills for students in preclinical and clinical instruction. The applicant will be joining a department committed to a high-quality educational program with a progressive undergraduate curriculum in diagnostic sciences, oral medicine, endodontics, periodontics, oral and maxillofacial radiology, oral maxillofacial pathology, and dental hygiene.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must possess a DMD, DDS, or equivalent degree

  • Be eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky

  • Must have graduated from a CODA-accredited program

  • Prior clinical teaching experience in Endodontics
