This includes LOB business management, strategy & innovation, data transformation, client lifecycle management, and risk management.

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a CIB-Banking Business Manager (Principal CIB Business Manager) in CIB as part of COO. This opportunity will coordinate and lead efforts to strengthen infrastructure / automation used to manage client targeting, sales routines, banker scorecards, and disciplines for the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB). This senior level role will be responsible for advancing CIB client strategies and coordination across Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Markets, and international lines of business.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the strategic direction and execution of the client management and tools journey for CIB, aligning priorities with our client strategies
  • Engage directly with CIB front line business leaders to prioritize work, discuss client priorities, and develop tools and reporting that inform decision making and client targeting
  • Partner with platform leaders in Finance, client onboarding, Innovation, banker tools development, and business enablement to develop the future state client data layers and CRM platform, ensuring our clients remain at the center of everything
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CIB leadership team, providing insights and recommendations that advance our client management capabilities
  • Champion initiatives that enhance client engagement, operational efficiency, and business enablement, leveraging data-driven analysis and best practices
  • Coordinate and influence a matrixed team across Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Markets, International LOBs, to deliver integrated client solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of corporate & investment banking business management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Technical ability to manage complex workstreams and strategic ability to interpret results
  • Ability to motivate a team and lead strategic initiatives, collaborating across a large organization, multi-tasking, and influencing across a matrixed organization
  • Thought leader in topics that improve the overall franchise, including strategies to drive client engagement, improve efficiency, create leverage and scale, and increase process and metrics that drive behavioral change
  • Ability to manage large-scale initiatives including stakeholders across business, legal, control, support and technical teams
  • Project management expertise to lead committees, initiatives, employee engagement events, training efforts, etc
  • In-depth understanding of investment banking and commercial banking products including debt capital markets, M&A, loan syndications and underwriting as well as other relevant Commercial Banking products
  • Ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skills

Job Expectations:

  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$250,000.00 - $420,000.00
