Chevrolet Regional Sales Operations Assistant Manager

Location: Must live or relocate to within 50 miles of our SSM South Central Regional Office in Coppell, TX.
 

The Chevrolet Regional Sales Operations Assistant Manager is a key member of the South Central Region Leadership Team, responsible for driving strategic initiatives that support regional objectives and enhance dealer performance. This role combines marketing execution, product training, vendor management, and special projects in a fast-paced environment that demands strong organizational skills and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities

Experiential Marketing & Event Management

  • Partner with the Regional Sales Operations Manager to set annual goals and develop strategies for regional experiential marketing.
  • Oversee Chevrolet promotional budgets, event execution, and sponsorship activities.
  • Manage agency relationships to ensure deliverables meet budget, timeline, and quality standards.

Accessory Sales Leadership

  • Drive regional accessory sales initiatives and promotional strategies.
  • Collaborate with ADI Account Managers and regional ADIs to maximize accessory performance.

Product Training & Launch Support

  • Coordinate regional product training programs to support new launches and updates.
  • Serve as a communication link between central product teams and field staff, providing feedback and direction.

Marketing Vehicle Fleet Management

  • Manage regional transportation and brand ambassador fleet, including budgeting, ordering, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate vehicle logistics for auto shows, motorsports events, and promotional activities.
  • Oversee vehicle disposition and buyback processes post-event.

Special Projects & Regional Events

  • Plan and execute major regional meetings and events, including annual all-region meetings and zone manager sessions.
  • Support go-to-market activities and monthly GTM meetings.
  • Lead special projects that drive regional performance and innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years in field sales or marketing, preferably with OEM or agency experience.
    • Proven ability to manage events, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Skills:
    • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences.
    • Technical proficiency in GM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
    • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Slack.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to travel up to 50%.
    • Must be mobile and willing to relocate to the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.
