Pay: $21.30

Hours: 1st Shift

MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION.

• This position is responsible for cage repairing and providing support for cage repair while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements: Minimum of 6 months mechanic work experience and or education documented in the work/education history section of the application. This can be a combination of employers/education if equal to at least 6 months.

Skills Required

• Learn and observe safety regulations/best practices.

• Must be able to drive/operate forklift, scissor lift.

• MUST have good Mathematical skills.

• MUST be able to read diagrams, fabricate, plasma cut, and weld.

• Perform preventative maintenance.

• Ability to execute strenuous tasks such as lifting and handing heavy objects, pushing, pulling, stand for long periods of time, squat and kneel.

• MUST be able to troubleshoot and repair small motors.

• Load/offload and strap cages.

• MUST be able to use plumbing techniques for water lines.

• Keep track of Inventory of shop materials.

• Keep company driver’s license.

• Check and perform maintenance on fans daily.
