What You Will Do
You will play a key role in supporting our design engineers by converting hand-drawn single-line sketches into professional 2D or 3D design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. This is a hybrid role, primarily home-based, with at least one day per week in the office. We are currently relocating to either Farnborough (Hampshire) or Weybridge (Surrey). Your main responsibilities include producing accurate drawings and models from sketches, checking for design accuracy, and supporting the transition from AutoCAD to Revit. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver fully coordinated, clash-free MEP designs, while providing mentoring and maintaining high standards of document quality control and BIM compliance.

How You Will Do It
You will work within our company standards using templates, CAD blocks, and Revit families. Key tasks include:
• CAD Template & Block Library – creating, updating, and maintaining the master CAD template and block library.
• Draughting & Design Checks – producing drawings, checking for design and logic errors, and suggesting solutions.
• Transition to Autodesk Revit – developing methods for seamless transition from AutoCAD, including tags, families, and Dynamo scripts.
• BIM Coordination – collaborating with clients and subcontractors to share models and resolve clashes.
• Project BIM Management – attending meetings, maintaining BIM documentation, and ensuring adherence to BIM Execution Plans.
