Job Description

We are looking for a Buyer to support procurement activities across global regions. You will ensure accurate purchase order (PO) creation, maintain procurement records, and coordinate with our teams to ensure smooth order processing. We are looking for a understanding of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle and the ability to work flexible shifts to support global operations.

You will report to Team lead - GEBS Business operations

This work type is hybrid.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will build processes in compliance with established SOPs and guidelines. Perform several administrative/Operational responsibilities for assigned team(s) and function(s).
  • You will gather and summarize enabling data to build assigned tasks.
  • You will be responsible for procurement of IT goods, and other services.
  • Vendor sourcing, vendor setup for indirect purchasing.
  • You will maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary technical, financial, and commercial information.
  • You will build relationships with suppliers for the best price, quantities, and delivery timescales.
  • You will process requisitions and updating management on the status of orders.
  • You will update inventory and managing stock levels, extract weekly/monthly reports, maintain database and present to management in schedule.
  • You will contribute to Root cause analysis for any deviation highlighted by end user/ requesters, required documentation of the said deviations and responding to audit processes.
  • You will use the official tools available like conference calls and emails for frequent interaction with peers/ requesters and supervisors on discussion related to processes, feedback, presentations and other updates.
  • You will coordinate with multiple teams across organisation for required updates, material delivery/availability, receipts, invoicing, and any further discrepancies if identified.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Professional degree in Administration, Business, Finance or related experience.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations
  • 2+ years of experience with the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle
  • Knowledge of 3-way matching (PO, invoice, and goods receipt)
  • Maintain the project/contract/proposals/quotation status in Business systems throughout its lifecycle including creation, material / service supply requests, receipts, invoicing, completion and closure.
  • Extract data (from business systems, SAP / IFS / others) and publish necessary reports required by the regional partners, observing the established schedule and guidelines.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Exposure to global procurement processes
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Experience with sourcing and negotiation (optional)
