Business Travel Consultant

About the Role: 

Are you passionate about delivering excellent service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment?  We’re looking for a Business Travel Consultant to support our corporate customers with seamless corporate travel arrangements.  As a Business Travel Consultant, you’ll handle the end-to-end travel experience, ensuring that each trip is smooth, cost-effective, and aligned with our corporate travel policies.  

 This role requires a sharp eye for detail, expert-level travel knowledge, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Normal business hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am-8:30pm EST.    

 What You’ll Do: 

  • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel itineraries for corporate customers. 
  • Manage air, hotel, ground transportation, and special requests in compliance with travel policies. 
  • Monitor and respond to urgent changes, cancellations, and rebooking with speed and professionalism. 
  • Offer expert guidance on travel documentation, visa requirements, and travel advisories. 
  • Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate better travel solutions. 
  • Manage unused ticket credits which include processing name changes 
  • Group air booking working off shared excel, Smartsheet’s, etc. 

 What We’re Looking For: 

  • 3+ years of corporate travel experience, ideally in a TMC, in-house travel department, MICE, or executive support role. 
  • Proficiency with GDS systems (Sabre, or similar). 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word. 
  • Knowledge of corporate travel tools and platforms is a plus (Scripts, Booking Builder, Sabre profiles, Concur, etc.). 
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. 
  • Discretion, poise, and professionalism under all circumstances. 
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, especially under pressure. 
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and stay calm in high-stakes situations. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset. 
  • Knowledge of BSP and ARC ticketing. 
  • Bi-lingual (English/French) a plus.
