What You Will Do

As a BPI Analyst, you will help investigate and address process challenges by gathering information, mapping workflows, and supporting recommendations that improve operational effectiveness. You will work closely with experienced team members to learn best practices, analyze data, and track the impact of process changes.

You will apply basic principles of the BPI framework and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, to assist in the ongoing enhancement of operational processes within the Index organization. You will help maintain documentation for current and future process designs and use data analysis tools to help monitor performance and support successful change efforts. Your work will involve identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and other process issues, and assisting in implementing solutions to achieve the following outcomes:

  • Help reduce costs and waste.

  • Support increased efficiency and productivity.

  • Contribute to improved quality and stakeholder/client satisfaction.

  • Assist in eliminating redundant efforts.

  • Develop clear and concise process documentation to support stakeholders.

  • Basic understanding of business process improvement and an openness to learning how to optimize and innovate Index business operations.

  • Ability to collaborate with different teams and work towards shared goals.

  • Willingness to make thoughtful decisions and help improve processes while maintaining quality and a good user experience.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills, able to listen to business stakeholders, and share ideas clearly in meetings and presentations.

  • Strong interest in solving problems and learning from user feedback to help shape process improvements.

  • Comfortable working with unclear information and able to suggest solutions for process improvements.

  • Demonstrated ability to help resolve process-related challenges in a dynamic and changing work environment.

  • Ability to build positive working relationships with team members and other departments.

  • Attention to detail when examining process data and information to help develop practical solutions.

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on getting results.

What We Expect 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, analytics, operations, or related field.

  • Some experience or coursework in process design, operations, analytical thinking, or product design is preferred.

  • Familiarity with process documentation tools such as Figma or Visio is a plus but not required—willingness to learn is important.

  • Basic understanding of data analysis tools like Tableau or Excel.

  • Comfortable using PowerPoint to organize and share information in meetings or team presentations.

  • Desire to learn industry best practices and apply them in daily work.

  • Openness to pursuing certifications such as Lean Six Sigma as part of ongoing professional development.
