About the Position

In this role, you will...

Provide professional leadership and operational oversight to the Central Processing team responsible for park-related business systems, financial transactions, and customer service. This role ensures efficient, accurate, and customer-focused delivery of services while maintaining compliance and supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate Central Processing staff to ensure effective service delivery.

  • Oversee reservations, registrations, point-of-sale transactions, and account reconciliations totaling over $4M annually.

  • Manage cash handling, deposits, refunds, and financial reporting in compliance with county policies.

  • Ensure exceptional customer service, resolve escalated inquiries, and maintain accurate records.

  • Serve as system “Super User” for RecTrac, CCURE, and MUSCO/Skylogix; troubleshoot and coordinate with IT and vendors.

  • Analyze operations, identify process improvements, and implement efficiency strategies.

  • Collaborate across divisions and with community partners to support events, programs, and facility use.

  • Maintain data integrity, uphold policy compliance, and champion best business practices.

About the Schedule

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

About You

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Parks and Recreation, or a job-related field -AND- Two (2) years of job-related experience.

  • -OR- Six (6) years of professional job-related experience can be substituted for the required education.

  • -OR- Related professional program/project management may substitute for the required education.

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Previous parks and recreation system administration experience

  • Previous supervisor/management experience

  • Certified or ability to obtain certification as a “Certified Parks and Recreation Professional” through the National Parks and Recreation Association

Starting Pay: $56,139.20
