Provide professional leadership and operational oversight to the Central Processing team responsible for park-related business systems, financial transactions, and customer service. This role ensures efficient, accurate, and customer-focused delivery of services while maintaining compliance and supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and evaluate Central Processing staff to ensure effective service delivery.
Oversee reservations, registrations, point-of-sale transactions, and account reconciliations totaling over $4M annually.
Manage cash handling, deposits, refunds, and financial reporting in compliance with county policies.
Ensure exceptional customer service, resolve escalated inquiries, and maintain accurate records.
Serve as system “Super User” for RecTrac, CCURE, and MUSCO/Skylogix; troubleshoot and coordinate with IT and vendors.
Analyze operations, identify process improvements, and implement efficiency strategies.
Collaborate across divisions and with community partners to support events, programs, and facility use.
Maintain data integrity, uphold policy compliance, and champion best business practices.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Parks and Recreation, or a job-related field -AND- Two (2) years of job-related experience.
-OR- Six (6) years of professional job-related experience can be substituted for the required education.
-OR- Related professional program/project management may substitute for the required education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous parks and recreation system administration experience
Previous supervisor/management experience
Certified or ability to obtain certification as a “Certified Parks and Recreation Professional” through the National Parks and Recreation Association
Starting Pay: $56,139.20
