Business Data Analysis and Reporting Associate / Assistant Manager / Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver reporting and analytics solutions designed to translate data into actionable business intelligence including the support of financial planning and reporting
  • Consult with stakeholders to determine reporting needs to meet requirements. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses on a broad array of issues to inform strategic decision making.
  • Support leaders to build the governance/ monitoring system
  • Create compelling, persuasive presentation materials to communicate key learnings and recommendations to senior level executives
  • Build and maintain the reporting dashboards to provide up-to-date business performance
  • Contribute to reinforce the backup system for payment operations
  • Impact analysis and integration of vendor expense data from newly implemented system by Global HQ
  • Facilitate internal people leader forum

Experiences:

  • Minimum of 3 years of analytical and business consultative experience, preferably in financial or IT industry
  • Experience in strategy planning (business strategy, financial planning, restructuring, change management, etc...)
  • Experience in business consulting field (can be any type of business consulting)

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Numerically Astute with ability to analyze, sort and summarize large volumes of data from multiple sources, using data analytical tools such as Power BI
  • Organized, impeccable presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and constructively challenge to achieve quality improvement
  • Experienced in one or more data management, visualization, or analytics software tools
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong independent work ethic
  • A sharp eye for detail
  • Strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation and PowerPoint skills
  • Can-do attitude: Strive to find a way to deliver and make things happen
  • Team player: Be empathetic about others and interested in achieving goal as a team
  • Result oriented: Strive to help contribute to and improve the quality of teams results
  • Change Leadership: Propose solutions when issues arise or improvements are needed, looking even beyond existing procedures

 Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar discipline with analytical bias
  • Business level in Japanese and English (written and oral)
  • Professional certification (CPA/Qualified Accounting certificate) is a plus

Guidelines about Work from Home:

Hybrid style. In accordance with company policy

Over time:

Up to 20 hours overtime expected

Salary:

  • Based on our Work Rules, we will consider your experience, skills and knowledge when we decide the salary.

  • Commutation allowance and Variable Incentive Bonus are paid based on our Work Rules.

Working Hours:

Standard Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm  (Include 1 hour break. Flextime system available)
