The Role: Brand Designer I – Advanced Motion Designer
As a Motion Designer at Upstox, you’ll be part of the Brand & Marketing Design team — the creative force behind the visual identity and storytelling of one of India’s most exciting fintech brands. You’ll craft compelling visual narratives using motion, typography, and design to create high-impact videos and campaigns that resonate with millions of users.
This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about motion graphics, storytelling, and design craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Own
🎬 Motion Design & Storytelling
Conceptualize, design, and animate motion graphics for brand campaigns, product films, and digital content.
Create kinetic typography, character animations, and storyboards that bring ideas to life.
Blend 2D and 3D elements to produce visually stunning and emotionally engaging content.
✂️ Editing & Post Production
Edit and enhance video content using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Ensure seamless storytelling and visual flow across marketing and brand channels.
🎨 Design Collaboration
Work collaboratively with the brand, product marketing, and social media teams to translate concepts into impactful visuals.
Use Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma to integrate design consistency across projects.
Experiment with Lottie, Jitter, or similar tools for micro-animations and product experiences.
Who You Are
3–5 years of experience in motion design, animation, or visual design.
Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
Deep understanding of typography, color, and motion principles.
Hands-on experience with storyboarding, character animation, and kinetic typography.
Able to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail and strong creative judgment.
A storyteller at heart — turning static designs into engaging, dynamic content.
