BPE Authorizations & Controls

We are seeking a Business Process Expert – Authorizations & Controls. As part of our global team, you will help shape how access and control are managed across business functions like Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Projects. Operating within the IFS Centre of Excellence, you will contribute to maintaining system integrity and driving continuous improvement across our IFS landscape. 

In this role, you will collaborate with process owners, subject matter experts, and IT security teams to ensure that authorization structures are compliant, scalable, and aligned with operational needs. Your work will support both global and local business units, helping to build a standardized framework that strengthens governance and enables secure, efficient operations.

Your role:   

• You operate within a dynamic, international ERP environment that supports core business functions like Finance, Supply Chain, Projects and HR; 

• You will be part of the IFS Centra of Excellence, where you help ensure system integrity and drive continuous improvement; 

• You structure and manage access rights within IFS to ensure they are secure and compliant; 

• You support both global and local business units with authorization solutions; 

• You contribute to the development and rollout of standardized authorization frameworks across the organization; 

• You help align operational needs with governance requirements, balancing flexibility and control in access management; 

• You ensure compliance on IT Change Control and set standards regarding permission sets; 

• You coach several internal stakeholders on the use of Fugro permission sets. 

Your track record:   

• You have a Bsc or Msc degree in Information Technology or a similar field; 

• You have at least 7 years of experience in coaching stakeholders; 

• You have at least 5 years of experience in implementing ERP systems; 

• You have deep understanding of IFS applications, particularly in the areas of security, permission sets, roles and user group management as well as authorization matrix configuration in IFS;

• You have the ability to configure and troubleshoot authorization settings across modules;

• You are proactive in identifying and resolving authorization issues, and have precision in managing complex authorization structures; 

• You have the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; 

• You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
