Body Shop Apprentice Technician
As a Body Shop Apprentice Technician you will be responsible for performing automotive repairs such as disassembling and reassembling services in accordance with Lithia, manufacturer, and insurance standards.

Responsibilities:
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia, manufacturer and insurance standards.
 - Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
 - Verify that all parts required on a collision repair are accounted for and accurate.
 - Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
 - Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools.
 - Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
 - Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.  
 - Ensure that customer’s vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
 - Maintain up-to-date proficiency by attending training on the latest repair techniques and materials as needed.
 
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
 - Excellent communication skills both written and oral
 - Active Listening – give full attention to the words and body language of others, take time to understand the points being made and ask questions as appropriate
 - Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
 - Time Management – ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time
 - Frame Equipment Knowledge – have working knowledge of frame equipment
 - Attention to detail
 - Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
