About the role

As a Beauty Trainer, you will deliver inspiring and informative training sessions on Dyson’s hair care products, with a strong focus on practical, hands-on learning. The content and skills covered will be carefully tailored to the needs of different target groups—such as Dyson retail teams, stylists, and other internal or external staff. This ensures that each group develops the appropriate level of product knowledge, styling expertise, and the ability to deliver personalized beauty consultations to customers.

You will actively contribute to growing expertise and advocacy in the market. In this role, you will report on the impact of your trainings and share your insights with the Benelux Training Manager.

Training

  • Conducting training sessions: Training colleagues, retail partners and customers on product application, features and benefits.
  • Organizing and conducting events & training sessions: Planning and independently conducting training sessions, workshops or events

Technical expertise & brand message

  • Expertise: Possess in-depth technical and application-related knowledge of beauty and styling products (e.g. Airwrap, Supersonic, Corrale).
  • Develop various sales techniques and training materials.
  • Support marketing activations: Actively participate in product launches, promotional campaigns, events and beauty trade fairs.
  • Support for photo shoots/content production: Styling on site, preparing models and demonstrating product applications

Customer interaction & sales promotion

  • Demonstrating the devices directly to customers: Live hair styling demonstrations, step-by-step explanations of how to use the products
  • Support for POS training in retail environments: Training sales staff in consulting skills and product presentation

Reporting & further development

  • Documentation of training measures and sales figures.
  • Feedback: Collecting feedback from the market and passing it on to the product team
  • Teamwork & exchange: Working closely with internal teams – such as marketing, sales and communications

Requirements

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Class B driving licence
  • Completed training in hairdressing (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in retail (recommended)
  • Ideally, initial management experience
  • Strong communication skills: Clear, confident speaking in front of groups and in one-on-one conversations
  • Teaching skills: Convey content in a clear and engaging manner
  • Organisational skills: Well-structured scheduling of appointments, training sessions and materials
  • Flexibility & willingness to travel: Travel for training sessions at retail partners and events
  • Enthusiasm: Convey passion for beauty, technology and innovation
  • Digital affinity: Use of online tools for virtual training and presentations MS Office
  • Customer focus: Focus on the needs of participants and their success
