FHLB Dallas is seeking a detail-oriented intern with a passion for data analysis, reporting, and process improvement. As a Banking Operations Intern, you will play a key role in transforming operational data into actionable insights that support our mission and enhance member services.

Banking Operations
- Learn about FHLB Dallas’ Safekeeping service and other business operations, applying analytical skills to optimize service delivery.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, SQL, and other tools to support decision-making across banking operations.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and team members in clear, concise formats.
- Collaborate with teammates and management to evaluate current processes and recommend data-driven enhancements.
- Support ongoing projects by providing analytical input and reporting on progress and outcomes.
- Assist with other duties as assigned, with a focus on leveraging data to improve efficiency and member satisfaction.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Banking Operations summer internship, you must:
- Pursuing an undergraduate (junior or senior) or graduate degree in finance, business, data analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.4.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams); SQL experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Self-starter, team player, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information
- 40 hours a week, negotiable
- A written reference is appreciated though not required
