Job Summary:
This is a 100% onsite role, requiring presence in the office Monday through Friday.
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in setting up and managing Docker and Podman environments on Nutanix infrastructure, integrated with Azure DevOps pipelines and Azure Container Registry (ACR). The ideal candidate will also bring a solid background in Java/J2EE development, enabling close collaboration with development teams to streamline CI/CD workflows, optimize containerized deployments, and enhance delivery efficiency across environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain container environments using Docker and Podman on Nutanix platforms.
- Implement and manage CRI-O runtime configurations for container orchestration.
- Develop, automate, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of containerized applications.
- Integrate and manage Azure Container Registry (ACR) for secure image storage, versioning, and retrieval.
- Collaborate closely with Java/J2EE development teams to containerize both legacy and new applications.
- Monitor and optimize container performance, resource utilization, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
- Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure setup, CI/CD workflows, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Docker and Podman container technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Nutanix infrastructure and virtualization (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, including YAML-based pipeline configuration.
- Proficiency in Azure Container Registry (ACR) and image lifecycle management.
- Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools.
- Development experience in Java/Spring Boot with a solid understanding of application architecture and deployment.
- Proficiency with Git, version control, and branching strategies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

The base salary range for this position is $92,250 - $144,964 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
