POSITION PURPOSE
This role is responsible for the reliable, high-performing, highly-available, scalable, secure and agile cloud operations of the organization's cloud platforms (applications, services and infrastructure). Designs, implements and maintains YPO’s cloud services while minimizing risk of disruption to provide the “five nines” of availability.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement and administer YPO’s Microsoft cloud-based IaaS, applications and services (primary Azure and M365).
Coordinate with managed services for small on prem environment.
Document baseline configurations, dependencies and changes of all systems.
Resource provisioning and cost monitoring of cloud infrastructure and user licenses.
Review architecture of new implementations to ensure compatibility and seamless integration with existing systems.
Monitor level 3 requests and resolve them in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor availability and system resources and provide alert resolution.
Backups of all production data in accordance with YPO’s data retention policies.
Develop and implement standardized processes for service onboarding, account management, application integration and support of all cloud services and applications.
Perform routine maintenance such as hardware upgrades, performance tuning, critical system patches, provisioning additional resources and updated best practices configurations to ensure system optimization.
Research new technologies and vendors that could provide value to YPO.
Coordinate with security team to harden systems and remediate cyber security threats.
Adhere to all applicable IT policies including standardization, change management, problem management, SOPs and escalation procedures.
Assist with whitelisting and publishing approved applications in the company portal.
Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency of frequently executed activities.
License management of virtual resources and subscriptions.
Develop and provide reporting metrics for performance, usage and availability.
Communicate with 3rd party vendors for implementation and support.
Establish and maintain wireless, LAN, WAN and VPN infrastructure.
Install and maintain firewalls to provide access policies.
Monitor performance and usage trends to anticipate future computing needs.
Quality control testing on new solutions prior to releasing to production.

EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND
3+ years administration of cloud-based infrastructure (IaaS) such as Azure and M365.
3+ years of M365 and Entra ID administration.
Understanding of deployment lifecycle (identify, plan, design, build, test, deploy, maintain).
Experience with cloud architecture (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and a thorough understanding of cloud computing.
Knowledge of security standards such as IAM, SSO, MFA, DLP, Encryption, SAML, OAuth, OpenID, Kerberos.
Working knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
Managing MAC in an enterprise environment using tools such as Jamf a big plus.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent work experience.
Industry recognized Microsoft certifications such as Azure and/or M365 is highly desirable.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed to accommodate members and team members in multiple time zones.
Willingness and ability to travel, domestically and internationally, without restrictions, approximately 5-10% per year.
