The Work
Our Digital Modernization Division is an information technology and management consulting department that offers integrated, strategic solutions to its public and private sector clients. ICF has the expertise, agility, and commitment to design, build, and operate high-performance IT engines to support all aspects of our client’s business.
We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce and integrated systems. This role ensures software quality and readiness before deployment through rigorous testing and continuous integration practices.
Job Location: Remote work is authorized with occassional travel to the Washington, DC office to meet with the client. Must support US Eastern time zone working hours.
What You Will Do:
Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for Salesforce and related applications.
Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure functionality.
Maintain and manage test data for various environments.
Document test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to development teams.
Support regression testing and ensure quality assurance in CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and improve test coverage.
What You Will Bring With You:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Candidate must be a US citizen, reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.
What We Would Like You To Bring With You:
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript).
Familiarity with Salesforce testing and APIs.
Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Knowledge of software QA methodologies and best practices.
Experience with performance testing tools.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$81,094.00 - $137,860.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
