The Role
We are looking for an Automation Developer to innovate, win, and grow with us in our Portsmouth, NH office or remotely if on EST/CST time zones. This role is for U.S.–based candidates living in the U.S. and willing to work on EST time zone.
The Automation Developer will be responsible for helping solve complex business issues from strategy to execution through automation tools like UiPath, Alteryx, etc.
You’ll be working with business stakeholders to scope potential processes for automation and develop a project plan, ensuring quality data, developing analytic capabilities, and utilizing technology to deliver quality outputs in less time. You’ll ensure automated solutions meet the needs, criteria, and business rules and regulations, including security standards. This individual must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time, provide project updates regularly, and create process documentation that supports automation processes.
How you’ll contribute:
· Support efforts that are conducive to the growth of the network and driving revenue for Paymode
· Evaluate and learn operational processes, partnering with business stakeholders to identify potential automation use cases and gather input.
· Facilitate discussions around potential solutions and help to drive consensus on the best approach.
· Lead automation project: research, design, test, evaluate, implement, document, and manage. Providing written or verbal updates to the business.
· Identifying areas for modification in existing automation workflows and then developing these modifications.
· Resolving conflicts to overcome obstacles that may arise during the implementation of automation solutions.
· Develop and document best practices for developing software robots.
· Driving efficiencies and consistency across internal processes
· Ability to effectively communicate and interact with executive team, as needed.
· Work with teams to measure business impacts and prioritize workload.
If you have the attributes, skills, and experience listed below, we want to hear from you!
· 2+ years of experience with automation development, including but not limited to the following RPA tools (such as UiPath or Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc.) and analytical tools such as Alteryx
· 3+ years of experience with data analysis and exposure to business operations
· Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills
· Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy
· Ability to meet deadlines and independently manage multiple projects efficiently
· Strong team player who is a self-starter and highly motivated, with the ability to take initiative
· A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant technical field from an accredited institution is required
· In lieu of the required degree, a minimum of an associate degree and two (2) years of additional relevant work experience is required for this position.
· Data Engineering, Automation, or other related industry certifications preferred (not required)
· Experience working in the digital payments domain is preferred (not required)
