This role is an intermediate-level position responsible for driving automation initiatives and providing dedicated production support for critical business processes. The primary objective is to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and ensure the stability and reliability of our production systems. This individual will be a key player in the implementation of automation solutions and will be responsible for navigating the approval process to ensure timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Automation and Development: Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using a variety of tools including Autosys, VBA, Appian, and Boardwalk.
- Production Support: Provide dedicated support for production environments, including troubleshooting issues, responding to user queries, and ensuring system availability.
- CI/CD and Version Control: Utilize Bitbucket/Git for version control and RLM and Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment of automation scripts and applications.
- Implementation and approvals: Drive the implementation of new automation projects from conception to completion, including chasing down necessary approvals from stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Data Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau to monitor system performance and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business users, development teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on automation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in an automation or production support role.
- Technical Skills:
- Automation Tools: Proficiency in Autosys, VBA, and experience with low-code platforms like Appian.
- CI/CD and DevOps: Hands-on experience with Bitbucket/Git, RLM, and Jenkins.
- Data Visualization: Experience with Tableau for creating dashboards and reports.
- Scripting: Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell) are a plus.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a production environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactiveness: A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive tasks to completion.
- Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Statistics is required.
