About the role

Join our dynamic team as an Auto Claims Manager and take on an exciting 12-month secondment opportunity!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive performance and efficiency by proactively managing workflows and resources to exceed regional goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic business plans while overseeing day-to-day operations to meet crucial objectives.
  • Oversee and report monthly on financial performance and productivity, ensuring alignment with specific goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies for loss containment, enhancing salvage and subrogation returns, and driving process and technology enhancements to improve regional outcomes.
  • Provide strong leadership through engaging staff, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and fostering ongoing learning and career development.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on claim matters, offering expertise in policy interpretation and settlement negotiation to effectively resolve claims issues.
  • Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with vendors, service providers, centers of excellence, and internal client groups.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably, a college diploma or university degree.
  • At least two years of experience in a management role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of staff, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in coaching and developing team members.
  • Proficiency in various PC software applications.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent customer service acumen.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and take ownership of tasks.
  • Self-motivated, with a sense of urgency and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Auto Physical Damage line of business.
