The Position

The AtR GPO Associate Director will report to the AtR Global Solutions Lead and collaborate with a team of approximately 50 AtR operational professionals at the Center, responsible for delivery. Together with the AtR Global Solutions Lead and the team, the Associate Director will oversee the complete end-to-end AtR process across all regions within Organon. This role acts as the single point of accountability for decisions related to process scope, standardization, controls, documentation, metrics, continuous improvement, and change management.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to define the future state of Organon's AtR processes.
  • Identify issues and risks, suggest mitigation strategies, and drive technology solutions to enhance the process.
  • Support the design and build of technology-driven solutions for AtR processes.
  • Work closely with Organon Finance stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and develop a deep understanding of Organon AtR financial processes.
  • Support the Finance Master Data team.
  • Ensure all AtR processes and transactions comply with accounting standards, policies, SOX, and statutory requirements.
  • Contribute as a key player in establishing AtR Operations in the new Global Service Center.
  • Help build strong governance and establish stable, effective, standardized, and controlled AtR Process delivery.
  • Play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of Organon's Global ERP SAP S/4 Hana platform, especially in the Process Areas under your responsibility.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Up to 10 years of experience in finance-related roles.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience in process design, mapping, quality improvement, review, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of process management, automation, SAP environments, and governance is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience working in a shared service environment.
  • Experience in developing and deploying standard processes across a global enterprise.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, including SAP PGR, FI/CO.
  • Excellent communication skills with an international and diverse mindset.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically.
  • Experience working on regional or global teams, especially in Shared Service Centers.
  • Experience with internal or external audits is valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in large teams.
  • Strong math, query, analytical, and systems skills, with experience in data management and MS Office.
  • Proven ability to maintain financial controls.
