Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize applications using Salesforce Lightning (LWC/Aura), Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce as needed.
- Configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, workflows, and permission models.
- Support integration of Salesforce with external systems using RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployments using tools like Git and Copado.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in Salesforce orgs across sandboxes and production.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, planning sessions, and sprint reviews.
- Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and other developers to deliver quality outcomes on time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Proficiency in:
- Apex (classes, triggers, schedulers, exception handling)
- Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura
- Salesforce configurations: objects, page layouts, validation rules, profiles, permission sets
- Familiarity with Salesforce security models, sharing rules, and role hierarchies.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Exposure to DevOps practices, Git-based version control, and CI/CD automation.
- Basic understanding of validation requirements in regulated environments (e.g., GxP/CSV).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Copado for source control and release management.
- Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Understanding of Salesforce’s object model, formula fields, flows, and automation tools.
- Exposure to healthcare, pharma, or life sciences industries (optional).
- Knowledge of basic validation artifacts such as requirement specifications, RTMs, or test evidence (a plus).
Professional Certifications (preferred)
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (required)
- Salesforce Platform Developer II (optional)
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (preferred)
- Certified Scrum Developer or SAFe Agile (bonus)
- Certified Validation/CSV Professional (nice-to-have)
