As an Associate Project Manager, you will be accountable to represent and coordinate project business readiness tasks in Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid frameworks for Sales and Operations.
You will be responsible for identifying the impacts and changes required across all representative teams to support assigned initiative. You will also develop the plans/approach regarding how the changes will be implemented within Sales and Ops business teams.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Project Management II
Represent and coordinate project business readiness tasks for Sales and Operations on assigned projects including corporate and non-corporate projects.
Create and manage project plans/schedules in collaboration with the Sales & Operations teams and communicating the progress of the project to all levels within Sales/Ops.
Engagement of Sales/Ops teams from the concept stage to the implementation/close out of assigned projects.
Identify scope of impact within Sales/Ops against assigned initiatives and performing assessments on the impact of changes, including the best approach for implementation.
Participation in resolution for issues raised throughout the stages of initiatives assigned.
Ensure Sales & Ops requirements are captured and documented.
Responsible for Sales/Ops support and service design, obtaining appropriate approval, project schedule management, creation of multiple high-level project strategies, and issue/risk/change management following project methodology.
2+ years of experience in a project management capacity in Waterfall, Hybrid and Agile.
Proficiency with MS Visio, Project, Jira, Confluence and SharePoint would be considered an asset.
Knowledge of merchant acquiring industry, terminal management, and vendor management would be considered an asset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate at various levels across the organization.
Proven negotiation skills with the ability to impact and influence change and work effectively in a collaborative and cross functional (matrix) environment.
An appreciation of end-user requirements, specifically the ability to see the big picture and understand the need of all stakeholders
Certified for, or being a candidate for the following certifications: Project Management, Change Management or Agile is an asset.
