THE ROLE

The Associate will be fully dedicated to the Legends team that is focused on partnership sales for LA28 and Team USA.  Legends Global is the exclusive sponsorship sales agency for LA28 and have staff dedicated to this project full time. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct market research to identify and target potential sponsorship prospects,
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified sales leads through outreach, networking, and attending relevant events.
  • Work with senior staff to create and deliver compelling sales presentations and customized proposals that align with a sponsor's marketing goals.
  • Support senior staff during sales process including with research and follow up materials
  • Development and update as necessary internal sales processes to ensure efficient and effective working practices incorporating all cross functional areas including Business Intelligence, Strategy and Partnership Marketing
  • Source best practices and latest trends from sports industry, marketing industry, and sponsorship industry to support and lead the development of programming for prospective clients
  • Daily management of CRM data, including maintaining detailed records of activation activity and sponsor communication, and following Company standards for use and system hygiene
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Four-year college degree, with a business major and/or sports marketing internship experience preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in event management, sports/entertainment marketing, presentation material development or administrative support (experience in sports or sponsorship is a plus)
  • Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.  
  • Attention to detail and a data driven analytical approach to business
  • Demonstrate an effective team building mentality. 
  • Highly motivated
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to think quickly, strategically and manage multiple priorities

COMPENSATION

Competitive salary range of $69,000 -$71,00 commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: Hybrid/On Site at the LA28 office Monday – Thursday, remote Friday
