1. The Internship Mentor will manage a group of up to 5 students (regardless of their enrolled credit points).
2. The Internship Mentor will follow directives from the RMIT Course and Offering Coordinator and the prescribed requirements as outlined in the internship course guide for BUSM 4711 and BUSM 4712. The Internship Mentor is to provide timely advice, on-going learning support and pastoral care to the students in matters related to the academic modules undertaken by the student. The Internship Mentor will be the main contact point for the students on academic matters.
3. The Internship Mentor is required to check in during the student internship term to ensure the students are learning and meeting performance requirements in their assigned internship position and to provide feedback to students. When necessary, the Internship Mentor will periodically communicate with the internship students remotely, via video/phone call and email (Number of times will vary with each student).
4. The Internship Mentor will undertake the marking and grading of all progressive assessments (up to 2 pieces) based on the rubrics provided by RMIT Course Coordinator.
