Position Overview
Pomona Capital is seeking a high-performing Associate or Senior Associate to join its Investor Relations team. This individual will support both day-to-day investor relations functions and the firm’s global fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of private equity, demonstrated experience supporting fundraising efforts, and a proven ability to manage investor communications and diligence requests.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation, review, and updating of marketing materials, presentations, and fund communications
  • Complete investor and consultant questionnaires, DDQs, and RFPs with a high level of accuracy and consistency
  • Respond to investor inquiries and manage due diligence processes
  • Analyze and compile fund performance and portfolio data for investor reporting
  • Support the planning and execution of annual meetings, including presentation development and logistics
  • Maintain and update Pomona’s CRM system to track investor engagement and activity
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, Legal, and Investments to ensure alignment across communications
  • Contribute to special projects, such as ESG reporting or customized investor materials

Fundraising and Business Development Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of the fundraising strategy in coordination with the Head of IR and the broader team
  • Assist in identifying, researching, and prioritizing new prospective investors across institutional, consultant, and family office channels
  • Track and manage prospect engagement through the fundraising lifecycle, from initial contact through close
  • Help prepare materials for roadshows, one-on-one meetings, and ongoing follow-up
  • Contribute to competitive analysis and market intelligence gathering
  • Over time, develop the ability to articulate Pomona’s investment strategy, portfolio, and market positioning in a clear and compelling manner

Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong academic credentials preferred

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or related functions within private equity or financial services
  • Demonstrated experience supporting fundraising campaigns and investor diligence processes
  • Knowledge of asset management, private equity, or alternative investments is preferred

  • Results-Oriented: A focus on consistent work product

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$125,000 to $140,000 USD
