Job Description Summary

               

The Associate Insights Analyst plays a critical role in uncovering actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across foodservice and chain businesses. This role supports cross-functional teams by analyzing consumer behavior, operator trends, and category performance to inform innovation, marketing, and sales strategies. The ideal candidate will be skilled in executing proprietary research and analyzing syndicated and internal data to uncover actionable insights. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence decision-making across commercial and marketing teams.

Job Description

  • Translate operator, consumer and industry data into strategic insights that inform marketing, sales, and innovation planning teams.
  • Monitor competitive activity and category trends across foodservice segments (QSR, casual dining, non-commercial, etc.) and report key findings.
  • Develop deep understanding of operator needs and Lamb Weston’s foodservice portfolio to support internal stakeholders and customer engagements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into go-to-market strategies and customer solutions.
  • Stay current on industry dynamics, including emerging trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors impacting foodservice.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in insights, analytics, or strategy within foodservice, CPG, or B2B environments.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills; ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with syndicated data platforms (e.g., Technomic, Datassential, Circana) and research methodologies.
  • Highly collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to travel independently and meet company driving standards.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $57,430.00 - $86,140.00
