Associate Analytics Consultant

Job Description Summary

The Analytics Associate Consultant will work with clients and multi-disciplinary consulting teams and will possess strong analytical skills, a structured approach to problem solving and experience with process
improvement and statistical analysis. In addition, the candidate must be a self-starter with potential to lead.

This is a remote position open across the continental US. The role will require weekly travel to customer sites Monday-Thursday.

Job Description

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Contributing to engagement deliverables, coordinate activities and provide any necessary support to the engagement team. 

  • Assisting in the collection, validation and analysis of data to support engagement objectives. 

  • Contributing to the planning and completion of high-quality engagement deliverables on time and on budget. 

  • Assisting in the design and layout of analysis and in writing accurate reports to depict findings, contributing to the development of conclusions and recommendations. 

  • Assisting in the preparation of clear and insightful executive-level presentations. 

  • Establishing credibility and develop relationships with mid-level client managers. 

  • Serving as a professional representative of GE Healthcare in all public and client settings. 

  • Participating in Knowledge Management activities as directed. 

 

Qualifications/Requirements 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering, Math or Statistics or related discipline. 

  • Experience in outcome-based process improvement, change management. 

  • Formal problem solving, logic. 

  • Experience with analytic techniques: regression analysis, simulation modeling, timeseries forecasting, hypothesis testing using R, SAS or similar software. 

  • Experience programming in Java, C# or similar production level language applied to data management, algorithms and automation. 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs. 

  • Data management in SQL or Oracle, understanding of Data Mining principles and strategies. 

  • Hands on experience with data visualization and dashboard development in Tableau, Qlik or similar. 

  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork. 

  • Ability to travel minimum 75%. 

 

Desired Characteristics 

  • Graduate degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering, Math or Statistics or related discipline. 

  • Formal problem solving, logic. 

  • Experience in outcome-based process improvement, change management. 

  • Experience working in a healthcare provider / acute care setting. 

  • Experience in UX/UI design. 

  • Software: Sketch (iOS) or equivalent.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $68,800.00-$103,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
