Job Description

The Department of Economics at University of Tampa's Sykes College of Business invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track, Assistant Teaching Professor of Economics position to start in Fall 2026. Applicants with a Ph.D. in Economics will be given preference. A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence is required. The applicant will also be expected to maintain an active research agenda and participate in service activities. The successful applicant will teach Principles of Macroeconomics or Principles of Microeconomics in our undergraduate program. The opportunity exists to teach other courses that match the applicant’s interests. The teaching load is 3 courses (typically a single prep) per semester.
