The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) Private Banking supports one or more Relationship Manager(s) (RM)/ Group Head (GH) in daily operations, administration, client care and relationship management. The ARM interacts with internal as well as external stakeholders, provides clients with relevant information and supports the RM in implementing customized solutions.Supports Relationship Managers (RMs) and Global Heads (GH) in client interactions, including system entries, document handling, file management, and ensuring high-quality, precise, and timely execution
Customises client requests such as reporting, statistical analyses, and mailing distributions as required
Manages RM/GH calendars, arranges client meetings and business travel, and handles follow-up tasks after client contacts or trips
Prepares presentations and assists in developing investment proposals and marketing efforts, including client events, receptions, and business trips
Ensures continuity of responsibilities through proper handover arrangements during periods of absence
Proactively gathers and shares relevant job-related information, self-organises efficiently, and keeps superiors promptly informed
Conducts regular work planning and review, maintains thorough documentation, and supports RMs/GH in project and initiative implementation
Identifies opportunities for improvement based on operational experience or observed incidents and provides constructive recommendations
Takes active role in risk management by monitoring client documentation, addressing issues, escalating concerns when uncertain, and clearing pending items or deficiencies promptly
Upholds compliance with internal policies and local regulations—including account openings, payments, call reviews—and ensures accurate, clear recording of client interactions in systems like CRM or DiAS
Demonstrates strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt effectively to diverse clients and RMs across cultural and linguistic backgrounds
Possesses a friendly, trustworthy, and discreet demeanour, combined with high service orientation, personal integrity, and a keen awareness of risks and ethics
Communicates consistently in a professional, courteous, and confident manner, building rapport while maintaining discretion and trust
Works systematically, precisely, and diligently, capable of delivering high-quality results under pressure and committed to continuous process improvement
Holds relevant education (e.g., bank apprenticeship or equivalent) and prior experience in the financial sector, with a proven record in managing complex private banking client relationships, including onboarding and retention
Has solid knowledge of private banking products, services, and global financial markets, along with awareness of the legal, regulatory, and cultural context of the operating region
Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); additional languages such as Arabic are advantageous
Shows initiative by contributing ideas for enhancements based on practical experience and client insights
