Job Description

LGT stands for long-term success, partnership, and sustainable values. To strengthen our External Asset Managers team with focus Swiss German Institutionals, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join us as an Assistant Relationship Manager.

Your Responsibilities

  • Proactive support of our Relationship Managers in all aspects of daily business – including correspondence, appointment coordination, account openings, compliance matters, and call-backs.

  • Telephone support for intermediaries regarding general banking matters and relieving the team of administrative tasks.

  • Independent handling of transactions (securities, foreign exchange, and derivatives) in Avaloq, as well as managing ongoing client inquiries.

  • Comprehensive support for external asset managers and fund managers and their demanding clientele in all operational matters.

  • Responsibility for ongoing due diligence of the client base and assisting with client onboarding, as well as complex clarifications.

  • Support in professional matters such as market research, internal clarifications, preparation of evaluations and presentations, and participating in projects.

  • Deputy function for Senior Relationship Managers and building an internal and external network to further develop the business.

Requirements

  • Completed banking or commercial training – ideally with initial experience in private banking or intermediary business.

  • Language skills: Native-level German and very good English skills; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Client-oriented personality with high initiative, innovative spirit, quality awareness, and a strong service mindset.

  • Organisational strengths: Good time management, prioritisation skills, and a structured way of working.

  • Analytical thinking as well as strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Advisory affinity and a strong interest in developing and cultivating long-term client relationships.

  • Identification with LGT’s values and a desire for long-term, committed collaboration.
