Core Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and delivery of corporate tax structuring projects, including reorganisations, demergers, refinancing, and cross-border expansion.
Prepare technical analysis, step plans, and draft reports under the guidance of Managers and Directors.
Support the preparation of HMRC clearance applications and related documentation.
Collaborate with team members to ensure advice is accurate, commercially relevant, and aligned with client goals.
Contribute to client meetings and communications, providing clear and timely updates.
Help monitor legislative and case law developments relevant to corporate tax planning.
Participate in identifying opportunities for advisory work within existing client relationships.
Development Expectations
Build strong technical knowledge of corporate tax law, especially in relation to structuring, distributions, and group reliefs
Develop commercial awareness of how tax interacts with legal and financial aspects of corporate transactions
Enhance project management and communication skills through active involvement in advisory engagements
Contribute to internal initiatives and team development activities
Skills and Attributes Required
CTA qualified or working towards qualification (or equivalent)
Experience in corporate tax compliance and exposure to advisory projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
Analytical and commercially aware, with a willingness to learn and grow
Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
