We are seeking a talented Assistant Account Executive (AAE) to provide support across its clients in the healthcare sector, covering diverse biotech and pharmaceutical companies. As an AAE, you will be a core part of a diverse account team, utilizing your experience in media research, media monitoring, presentations, and project coordination to impact the client’s goals. This position will allow for growth as well as the opportunity to contribute to meaningful initiatives for the most desired client accounts in the healthcare space.
Key Responsibilities
Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content including press releases, social media and blog posts, pitch letters, fact sheets, and client correspondence
Work with RF team members to respond to client requests and ensure requests are taken care of in an efficient manner
Develop solid understanding of client business and their competitive environments, including business strategy, products and services, key customers and competitors
Conduct media relations efforts, including thorough media monitoring, proactively flagging relevant trends and articles, developing media lists, pulling analysis reports using tools such, Cision, Trendkite, Google Alerts, etc., and conducting media outreach
Support the medical, legal and regulatory review of content, including Veeva uploads, references and pulling through comments
Support daily interaction with clients and work collaboratively with team members to on the day-to-day needs of the account, including developing meeting agendas and recaps and client hot lists
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Prior experience in a public relations internship – either at an agency or in house preferred
Ability to work in a client-focused, team-oriented environment
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage tight and sometimes conflicting deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Co-pilot)
Ability to work as a member of a team and take ownership of tasks
The anticipated salary range for this position, at the time of posting, is $48,000 – $53,000. The salary of the applicant selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, internal equity, geography, relevant years of experience, certifications, skills, abilities of the selected applicant, and other job-related qualifications. In addition, a range of medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available by the company.
