As an Asset Servicing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the precise reconciliation and processing of corporate action Income events. This developing professional position requires independent problem-solving, application of in-depth specialty knowledge, and a strong understanding of industry standards to ensure operational efficiency, quality control, and robust risk management within a complex financial landscape. .
Responsibilities:
- Accurately reconcile and process positions related to Corporate Action Income events, including managing communications, notifications, and postings.
- Develop and implement client-specific service solutions, consistently maintaining rigorous quality control standards.
- Perform multiple transactions to achieve high operating efficiency and productivity.
- Minimize risk to the firm through strict adherence to procedural requirements, audit guidelines, and control policies, participating actively in compliance activities.
- Proactively identify and design business process improvements to reduce manual touch points and collaborate with peers and product teams on solution development.
- Actively participate in system testing and maintain current awareness of product changes and system enhancements.
- Provide essential support to team members during high-volume periods and offer backup coverage as required.
- Appropriately assess and manage risk in all business decisions, exercising sound ethical judgment and transparently escalating control issues to safeguard the firm's reputation and assets.
- Applies a good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the wider team/working group
- Utilizes good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders, and to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ Years Related Experience
- Individuals at this level exhibit basic executional capabilities and are beginning to take on more responsibility
- Knowledge of multiple types of investment instruments including: Equity securities, Fixed Income and Asset Backed securities
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access- is desired)
- Proven success as a team player
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
