About this opportunity:

The Asset Scheduler plays a pivotal role in developing and maintaining integrated asset plans and execution schedules that align with operational priorities across the SeaRose FPSO and West White Rose Platform. This role supports the creation of yearly, quarterly, 45-day, and three-week planning and scheduling cycles, ensuring cross-disciplinary activities are coordinated effectively within field and facility constraints to meet key business objectives.

In addition, the Asset Scheduler works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between planning, scheduling, execution, and strategic goals, while driving continuous improvement across planning workflows. In addition to scheduling support, the role contributes to forecasting field oil production to inform oil marketing strategies and tanker forecasting.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support the build and help maintain yearly, quarterly, and 45-day integrated asset plans.

  • Support the build and maintenance of the integrated production optimization plan to minimize production impacts across assets considering all stakeholders including subsea, maintenance, engineering, subsurface, drilling and completions.

  • Provide scheduling support and backfill coverage for WWR and SR asset teams using SAP and Prometheus.

  • Apply capacity leveling techniques to optimize resource allocation and reduce scheduling conflicts.

  • Support POB management by integrating personnel constraints into integrated planning and scheduling workflows.

  • Support the development of Asset Turnaround planning and scheduling.

  • Develop, monitor, and report on planning and scheduling benchmarks to support business performance tracking.

  • Participate in planning and coordination meetings with onshore & offshore teams and liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between planning, scheduling, execution, and business objectives.

  • Forecast field oil production for oil marketing purposes (Calgary) and tanker forecasting purposes (Atlantic Region).

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

  • Engineering technologist diploma, Bachelor of Engineering degree, Business degree or Business diploma.

  • Member in good standing or eligible for registration with Professional Engineers and Geoscientist Newfoundland & Labrador (PEGNL) is an asset.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in planning/scheduling or related experience, preferably in offshore oil & gas operations.

  • Proficiency in SAP PM and Primavera P6

  • Deep understanding of offshore operations, maintenance workflows, and safety standards.
