We’re looking for an Asset Commissioning Lead to support the financial commissioning of assets and ensure accurate reporting across our £6bn capital investment programme. This is a key role in enabling timely and compliant asset accounting, working closely with finance and project teams to deliver robust financial control and support business obligations.
You’ll be fully engaged with investment committees and project milestones, leading process improvements and managing asset accounting systems. Your work will help drive a culture of continuous improvement in health & safety and financial accuracy.
Commission and decommission assets, ensuring compliance and financial accuracy
Track projects through delivery milestones and advise business units on commissioning timelines
Lead process enhancements and system improvements for capital accounting
Own and manage SAP Asset Accounting and Project Systems modules
Ensure robust financial control and support business obligations
Drive continuous improvement in health & safety standards
Degree or equivalent, preferably in finance; professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
Detailed understanding of IFRSs and regulatory accounting standards
Financial awareness of capital investment and management processes
Strong prioritising and decision-making skills
Ability to challenge constructively and deliver clear, actionable information
